It is definitely a crazy ride for all of you (well including me, I know) this festive season as there are so many campaigns and events going on every single day - all vendors are trying to promote their X'mas products and good sales are everywhere. Now I hope most of them are set for you and between X'mas and NYE, I think this might be the best time for us to plan ahead for 2019, or better we can focus a little more on ourselves, like self-caring.
Here I have put together a list of things that you can do to treat yourself right easily!
1. Dial back on Social Media
It could be hard for us who is working in the industry - ikr? But this is good for us.
Studies showed that people who spend more time on social media interacting with others than in real life - are usually more depressed and anxious. They tend to compare their lives to people they see online and those "perfect IG lives" that can really do a number on their self-esteem. We might not realise wen we are falling into this rabbit hole, but sometimes we just need to unplug ourselves from all these social media channels and have some real life conversations, go for a walk, take a hike or do whatever in person with our friends and family.
2. Eat Greens
We should never stop nourishing our bodies. We all know eating greens benefits us so much but sometimes we just forgot about it. You can never have too much of them, and it is time to remind ourselves and our tastebuds to appreciate how tasty are the food from our mother earth truly are. The more greens we have, the better our skin looks, the more energy we have, the lighter we can feel.
3. Say "NO" when you have to
I know we always want to be a nice person - but that does not mean you have to be a doormat for people to rob you of your voice and belittle you. Knowing how to and when to say NO to things/ people can be a precious skill or virtue. You need to understand that sometimes people's attitude towards you is more about their OWN inner struggles/ issues, so do not fear to say NO and stay away from people who demean you, and don't allow yourself to be their punching bag - mood and vibes are contiguous.
4. Don't get lured into Negativity
Only good energy can bring us forward, this is always right. Do not let people who only talk badly about everything or everything bring you into their circle. Those energy lower your vibration, and as mentioned in #3, that energy is contiguous. Always remember that you arter who you are, who you aspire to be. Loves as you would want to be loved and talk as they way you wanted to be talked about - the kinder the better.
5. Be of Service
Life gives to the givers and take from the takers - all the time. Try to find ways to be of service, that can be to people, to animals or environment and whatever inspired you. Find the way you love to GIVE.
